The PlayStation 4 Platform

Xbox One VERSUS Playstation 4Who won the console war? I’ll tell you Sony did hands down. Their latest console is a beast and it has some of the best exclusive titles out there. It plays Blu Rays, it has better graphics, more indie games, what more could you want? Now I’m no Sony fanboy but you have to admit they did pretty good this time around. I’m a big fan of their latest hardware and controller. So for the holidays I recommend you take advantage of the PS4’s price drop. That’s right it is dropping down to I believe $350 smackers. For what your getting its pretty much a steal.

Playstation 4 has already sold 22 million units. It is on track to be the best selling console of all time I believe. Xbox has sold about 12 million units. So Playstation 4 has doubled them haha. Like they say numbers don’t lie. I think most people have voted with their wallets this time around.

Here are the top 5 reasons PlayStation 4 is better than Xbox One.

  1. Playstation 4 has a better processor. It features a custom AMD chip and 8 GB of ram. Playstation 4 also has a superior DDR5 and a GPU that is 50% more stronger than the Xbox One GPU. That’s right 50% more juice for intense graphics.
  2. Playstation 4 has a better subscription. Either way you go, you gotta get a subscription to play online multiplayer games. I know its unfortunate but there’s no two ways around it when you’re gaming on one of these platforms. Playstation Plus membership is $50 annually thats compared to Xbox One membership which is a whopping $60.
  3. Playstation 4 controller the dualshock 4 is better than Microsofts new controller. It is light and more comfortable. It has a touchpad good thumbsticks and even a sharebutton.
  4. Playstation 4 has better indie support. I mentioned this earlier and as far as I’m concerned this is one of the biggest points. Sony Supports independent game developers. They’ve got Supergiant Games, Young Horses, Red Barrels Studios, boom boom boom. Furthermore they continue to work with indie game developers which Xbox one has dragged its feet in doing.
  5. Remote play through the PS Vita. If you’re a hardcore gamer you probably have a mobile gaming device. And since Microsoft doesn’t make one your much more likely to have a PS vita. Playstation 4 offers remote and cross play functionality with the PS Vita. Pretty cool you can play your new PS4 games anywhere. That sets it apart from Microsoft’s Xbox One.
